Where Benchrest Meets Blued Steel — A Collector’s Summer Auction

Join KIKO Auctioneers – Firearms for an outstanding summer offering that spans precision sporting rifles, golden-era American repeaters, and a handgun selection anchored by some of the most collectible names in the market.

Precision-rifle collectors will find an especially strong offering led by four Sako rifles — a Riihimaki (.222 cal.), Forester L579 (.22/250 cal.), Vixen L461 (.222 cal.), and AV (.338 Mag.) — alongside a group of Remington 40X-series and benchrest rifles in .22, 6mm, .223, and 6mm PPC. A Kimber Model 82 Government, Paul Jaeger Mauser, Winchester Model 70 Super Grade, Weatherby Mark V, and additional Remington Model 700 sporting rifles round out a precision category rarely this deep at a single auction.

Classic American repeaters add historical character throughout the rifle catalog. Notable examples include a Winchester Model 1873 (.38 WCF), Model 1892 (.32 WCF), Model 1890 (.22 Short), and Model 94 (.30/30 cal.), alongside a Savage Model 99, Browning Model 78, Marlin Model 1895, and several early Stevens and Remington rimfire rifles.

Military collectors will find firearms spanning several countries and generations, including an Inland/General Motors M1 Carbine, Remington 1903-A3, Winchester and Remington Model 1917 rifles, Russian and Norinco SKS rifles, Mosin Nagant M44 carbines, a Japanese Type 99, Yugoslavian M48A, and a Walther P1.

The shotgun offering is led by a Parker Bros. (20 ga.) and an Ansley Fox A-Grade (12 ga.) — two of the most respected names in American side-by-side history. Additional highlights include a Ruger Red Label, Browning Sweet Sixteen, Browning BT-99, Winchester Models 1893 and 1897, and an Ithaca Hammerless double. Remington, Winchester, Mossberg, and Weatherby round out the practical side of the category.

Handguns anchor this auction with a pair of Colt Pythons (.357 Mag.) joined by a Colt Woodsman Match Target, Colt Lightning, and two Frontier Scouts — a golden-era Colt grouping that will draw serious collector attention. Smith & Wesson contributes the Model 629-6, Model 13-1, and Model of 1905, while Ruger offers the Redhawk, New Model Blackhawk, and Security Six. Traditional target pistols include a High Standard Victor, Browning Challenger, and several Ruger rimfire pistols. Kimber, FN, Beretta, Glock, and Springfield Armory represent the modern semiautomatic side of the category.

Ammunition, AR components, magazines, optics, and black powder accessories accompany the firearm inventory. A wide selection of archery gear is also included, featuring crossbows, broadheads, tree stands, climbing sticks, and more.

Bidding opens Aug. 11 at 7:00 PM and closes Aug. 18 at 7:00 PM. Online only.
